In summer 2007 I ran the Upper Yough with some friends. It rained so hard each night we were there that nothing would dry, camping was wet, and the Upper Yough was high. In other words, it was a blast. A guy walked up through the woods next to our campsite one night and told us of the Top Yough and we knew by Kayaking Law we were required to run this before our second day on the Upper Yough. The first falls consisted of sliding down rocks, through holes, and landing in ankle deep water.
