Gauley Fest is the largest white water paddling festival around. It is located in Summersville, WV and takes place on the Gauley River. Jason Scott, Nick Ruark, and my self (David Nelson) went to run the lower section of the river. We met up with some of the people that I started paddling with from the Evansville, IN Club. Overall it was a great trip and a great first experience on the Gauley.
