Bob, Ari, Joel and I found a nice August week open to head out west to check out some of the famed Front Range climbing of Colorado. We were well rewarded for the drive, and treated to a spectacular week of climbing some of the tall granite classics that litter the landscape of the Rockies. We stopped at Vedauvoo, WY on the way out, then met up with Ari who was already in CO and set up home base at Mike's place with the great view of Long's Peak from the house. Over the week, we climbed at Lumpy Ridge and the Flatirons, and finally topped it all off with some backcountry climbing in Rocky Mountain National Park on Petit Grepon and the Sharkstooth.
