Another year, another callout. We had thirteen participants total for this callout trip, so we all carpooled down to Bloomington, Indiana to visit Trapdoor and Buckners Cave. Queen Blair was not available for exploration this time, to my dismay. We were running a little short on gear, but everthing worked out. After a short talk about caves, the new explorers spent about 45 minutes in Trapdoor, then headed over to Buckners where they spent about 6 hours exploring and route-finding. We had one person get slightly stuck, so we had to turn around and find a different way, no problem! I have to say thank-you to Shelly Potts for a great job of helping to lead the trip. Shelly also found the route through from the Air Force room to the Monument room after everyone else was ready to give up (including myself).



Participants were Jamie, Shelly, Brian, Jessie, Mike, Matt, Tom, Krista, Josh, Cathy, Kevin, Dustin, and Niels.
