The plan was to do some light backpacking on the trails at the Red....somehow things didn't turn out as planned. When we arrived sometime in the middle of the night, our first problem was finding a place to camp, since all the campsites that we saw were full. After changing our minds a million times, we finally decided to just camp in a parking lot, and got a wake up call by a park ranger the next morning. As we were setting up our tents that night, it began to rain......to make a long story short, it didn't stop raining once for the whole time we were there and we didn't get much backpacking done.
